I spotted Kevin on the deck in one of the lounge seats. Gold hair tousled back when his head lolled on the headrest. His grip in the water bottle in hand tightened. "Are you avoiding me?" I sat beside him. He didn't open his eyes. Nor did he respond. "I thought you said you were not at all bothered by our discussion last night," I teased. He peeked at me through an eye. "I was not."
