The rest of the day ran off with ease. Kevin wanted to join in on another dive game because he was not included in the first. Before we knew it, it was he and Javian that were competing. Javian was a born cheater. He knew all the right stops to pull to get under Kevin's skin and he played them. The rest of us played but only for the fun of it. Well, everyone except Jason. He went missing after the second game. To the honest, I hadn't noticed. Neither did Kate. It was Claire who pointed out that factor.
Kate found him in their cabin. She didn't explain what he was doing but when she returned her face was red with anger. No one pushed. Of course, the others didn't care about domestic relationships. Not now anyway, when they were too engrossed in their games.
