Jo JoAs promised, I met up with Reggie on the square opposite of Rainbow Central so we could attend the first official activity of Platypus together. Despite having been before and met a handful of the people, I was nervous. Being part of something like this and embracing myself was a big step towards feeling good in my own skin. The night was still young and most of the bars and clubs around weren’t open yet. The place was empty apart from the small crowd gathered in the middle of the square.
