Jo JoA couple of hours into the party and the once neat house had been transformed. Even though there wasn’t really a dance floor, that didn’t stop most people. The dimmed lights and dancing people in the middle of the living room all added to the illusion of a cosy and intimate club. The music was louder than before but there had been no complaints from the neighbours so far. Probably because they were all here. I peeled away from the dance floor to get myself another drink. The table had been abandoned by now and everyone was tending to themselves. I wasn’t sure how that worked out money wise but nobody seemed very bothered. Perhaps it had come out of the registration fee. Slightly swaying, I poured myself another cocktail and turned back to the dancing floor. A good amount of people
