Chapter Two: I want your ugly, I want your disease

I haven't used my powers in almost ten years. I was surprised I could still conjure a portal for transportation. I forgot how draining it is to use magick and I'm already weak. It was a miracle that I didn't drop when I stepped out of the portal. I was ao proud of myself and was excited until I arrived saw my mate surrounded by a harem of women.

It's my fault. I knew what I was risking when I said the spell to disrupt fate and find him. It didn't matter if he didn't want me. I would try for a bit and then leave if he never accepts me. I was already a s**t 'Luna.' Ugh, I was just filled with this overwhelming need to meet him. The second I took the magick binding cuffs off, I felt alive but incomplete. I just said the spell Bel gave me to find him without thinking that my family would track me here. I will save his life and make him fall in love with me. I'll be his 'princess charming.' Hehe, I laughed to myself. I try to be funny in situations where I'm scared,

"And as for her 'mate'- she used air quotes- " we will just get rid of him and his pack." Mom laughed

My mate's pack growled. They looked ready to shift when I screeched,

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Everyone froze and looked at me.

I was too weak and inexperienced with magick to beat my parents, but I have something they don't. I don't need to do it this way, but it will be more effective,

"AIR, WATER, EARTH, FIRE AND SPIRIT, I CALL UPON YOUR ASSISTANCE!" I slashed my palm deep with my nail.

I'm sorry I'm not giving you the respect you need. I hope my blood is sacrifice enough in this emergency. So I said in my head and let the blood drip onto the ground. Beautiful, bright colours surrounded me, purple, red, blue, yellow and green and became a force field. I noticed I started to bleed pretty hard. I felt Alpha Gideon come closer. I used the elements to absorb the magick thrown at us by my family. I dug into my wound, making it bleed more. I focused on water and created a wall. It surrounded the pack members then I heard a voice in my head,

'POWERFUL MATE,' My mate's wolf whispered.

I heard him earlier too. It is so weird, I know mates can mind link, but I never knew anything about listening to each other wolves. It felt different. Like, I know he's my mate's wolf, but I also felt connected to him in an indescribable way. Alpha Gideon must have realized I could hear his wolf because he looked at me in bewilderment,

'That's not possible,' Alpha Gideon thought.

"You will not harm a hair on my mate's head or any of his pack members. I AM DONE BEING ABUSED BY YOU THREE! You guys beat me so much you don't even remember what today is? I am 21 now." I ignored him and continued,

"Not curious how I escaped the magickal cuffs?" I lifted my chin,

"You're a w***e always have been. You probably sucked a guard's d**k to get let out," My brother hissed.

I heard a growl and I wanted to see if was Alpha Gideon but I couldn't turn my back on these vultures. I also heard a fit of giggles. I knew straight away it was his harem. I was slowly losing my patience with them,

"If you kept me a virgin until today, how am I possibly a w***e? You still believe mom locked me in the basement because I was so full of lust that I followed a man three times my age into the woods and all to undress me before mother came and stopped it?" I snapped,

"You and dad are both morons. What happened was one of the guards grabbed me, dragged me into the woods, and ripped my dress open. I panicked, and then it happened. My whole body became engulfed in fire, and I burned him alive. Mom saw it all; she wasn't protecting my virtue. She was protecting herself, weren't you, MOTHER?" I stepped closer to her,

"Aren't you the least bit curious as to how I can control the elements? How I broke the handcuffs? Don't you want to know why my 21st birthday is important when High Priestess takes the throne at 22?" I smirked,

" You're using forbidden blood magick that's obvious," Dad said, clearly bored,

"Actually no, I used the blood for two reasons as a sacrifice and " I clasped my hands together, whispering a spell,

"To bind you temporarily to me," I laughed at my moms face,

"Mother, you look awfully pale and you're very quiet. What's wrong? Did you think I would just stay locked in the dungeon with all my books and television shows and never figure it out?',

"H-how d-did you figure it out." My mother stuttered,

"Just because you did not want your soulmate in your life does not mean you can ruin it for the rest of us. Just because you asked him to stay away doesn't mean he would or has to. I am his child! I am the child of a God. I am a Demigoddess, which makes me more powerful than all three of you put together!" Rowena shouted,

"What the actual f**k is she talking about, Genevive?" Phoenix snapped,

"Phoenix, I met him the night before our wedding. I slept with him once and then left because of our responsibilities. It's not like our parents would have allowed me to refuse our marriage. Do you think Rowena is the only one disgusted by the fact that we are a family of inbred? Before you even try to act mad, I know you f**k every maid coming through the castle. I said nothing. When I fell pregnant, I had no idea who the father was. It wasn't until that day that I saw her use fire that I knew it was his and not yours." She spoke softly.

I never heard my mom speak so gentle before. For the first time in my life, I felt guilty about hating her. But, she knew what I was going through, and instead of helping me, instead of trying to figure out a way to get Ace and me out of this wicked web, she forced us deeper. I wanted to sympathize with her I wanted to feel bad that she was forced to marry her cousin. I thought maybe she regretted it, and I tried to play on her own experiences,

"Mother, please don't make me make your mistakes. PLEASE!" I begged,

" If I had to give up my soulmate, so will you darling." Genevieve snarled,

" Just because you're miserable doesn't mean you have to make your daughter miserable too." Alpha growled, his green eyes turning red.

He blinked a few times, clearly trying to keep his wolf from taking over. He may not want me doesn't mean his wolf appreciates the way she is talking to me. Wolfs are very protective by nature, and I've heard Alphas are the most protective of all,

"I WILL NOT BE A SLAVE ANYMORE! I WILL NOT STAY AWAY FROM MY SOULMATE FOR ANYBODY. IF YOU COME BACK HERE OR TRY ANYTHING WITH THIS PACK, I WILL BRING UPON YOU A PAIN WORSE THAN DEATH. NOW ELEMENTS, PLEASE TAKE THEM HOME!" I flung my hands towards them, and they were gone.

So was the water barrier. I looked down at my still bleeding hand and then looked around,

"You, you're the Beta, correct?" I walked up to the man closest to the Alpha,

" Yes, Luna-" Alpha Gideon growled,

"I mean Demigoddess, I am Jaxs," He held out his hand to shake hers,

" I know your Alpha doesn't want me and that is fine. However, I'm not leaving here until I know you are all protected. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to my mate and his pack. I need a picture of the map of your borders. I also need three more of the strongest warriors that you trust to protect your borders. Please." I asked sweetly,

Suddenly twins step forward. They are tall and built with reddish-brown, shaggy above the eyes hair. The only difference between them was one had green eyes and one had blue. They seemed awfully familiar, and when the blue eyes one spoke, I knew why,

"Hey sis, that was cool. Welcome to the family!" He pulled into a hug,

A growl erupted from behind us, and the other twin laughed so hard he started gasping,

"Relax Lachlan, Logan and I may be better looking, but we won't steal your mate," Green eyes said,

So my mate's name is Lachlan, that's such a beautiful name. I melt a little before I'm brought back to reality,

"Not my mate, just a trespasser who is causing too many issues. Keep my pack safe. Then I will decide how to punish you." Alpha Gideon grimaced.

I snapped my fingers and things appeared. I made five poppets. Inside them, I put grass, a lighter, a whistle and then dropped it in a jar of water. Things to represent the five elements. Jaxs returned with the paper, and I took it,

"Revelare" I whispered,

I let my let her blood flow on it. A pentagram appeared,

"Listen, I don't know how much longer I'll hold on. Element magick takes a serious toll on their users. Place the jars at the point coordinates for each element. Bury them deep at the same time, a few feet deep. Use your mind link and make sure it is happening together. You must do this correctly if you don't want any magickal intruders. Noone with magick in their blood will be able to enter without mine or the Alphas permission." I finished and Jaxs, the twins and another man took off. I started walking away, my breath coming out slowly,

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING, TRESPASSER?" Alpha yelled after me.

I stopped walking and just sat down,

"Can I take your punishment when I wake up? I am so tired and I was just planning on sleeping on this soft patch of grass until my energy came back.

ALPHA LACHLAN GIDEON

Rowena spoke weakly, then curled up on the floor and passed out. Holy f**k. She wants my punishment that's hot,

'Not really, Gideon, it's sad. She just spoke about being abused. She basically said she offered her death over your pack and sleeping with her brother. She used all her energy to save us. I think she doesn't value herself as much as she should, so you're right she's not your mate, you don't deserve someone as pure and selfless and Rowena' Severus said with dispassion.

I felt terrible. I knew Severus was right, but I didn't care. She did deserve punishment for trespassing on our land and he knows if it were anyone else they would have been dead already. I looked back over to her on the ground, and I wanted to pick her up then put her in my bed, hold her and never let go,

"Well, aren't you gonna kill the b***h?" One asked frustrated,

"It's what you usually do with trespassers and what you said you would let us do if you ever found your mate." She pouted her lips and batted her eyes,

"You should know better than to question your Alpha. She is powerful. We shall use her, now come inside. I'm bored" I threw her over my shoulder as she squealed.

I turned to my pack, " Continue the party, nothing left to see here" I continued into the house where my room is. My mind wanders back to the mystery asleep on the grass.

I decided to mind link Jaxs,

'Beta, once you're done with the Demigoddess request, please return to where we were and put her somewhere uh-uh' I stuttered,

'Safe Alpha?' Jaxs replied sarcastically,

'Oh yeah, safe, comfortable.' I shook my head

'Uh Alpha, she's kinda dirty. Do you want me just to leave her in her dirty rags and bloody on the bed? ' He hesitantly asked,

'Mind link Mae and have her take over and care for her in the pack infirmary," Feeling stupid for forgetting my sister, who is a pack Doctor.,

"Yes Alpha," He said firmly,
