After I Meet You

Chapter 2

I stay absorbing the quietly that is surrounding me, when I suddenly get up from the position from the roots of the tree and look around.

I just realized that is to quiet and remember that this is not a ordinary forest. I give a signal to Thio, my loyal horse, to come slowly to me. I take my sword fromvthe sheath and wait.

One of the bushes start shaking and I take a step back. It isn't the right moment and place to start a fight because louder noise will attract more beast and I'm not very armed.

Suddenly from that bush appears a creature with white fur and sharpy teeth. I automatically calm down and take a deep breath. It was Togo, the wolf I found one year ago in this forest.

I killed his mother because she attached me and. I saw after that she actually saw me as a thread and I just couldn't let her cub in this wild forest. I took him and rised him myself.

He must have followed me here. I told him to come and I pat his head. He grow up to be a very big wolf and sometimes I feel sorry for him because he has to stay with me in that prison.

I just wish that my cousin James to take over the throne and I could just leave and spend the rest of my life going in different places and fight for justice. I just want to be free without knowing where I would sleep next month and where I will be next year.

But this is just a dream that I made to justify my wild wish. I know I have a duty and I just hope that everything will be fine.

I look at the birds in the sky and realized that I late and probably I should go back home. I get on the horse's saddle and start running. I feeling like a bird who gets to fly for the first time. Far away of any worries.

Next week I might not be able to have this free time to enjoy my little freedom that I have. I just hope that everything will be fine.

I entered through to gate of my home. I let Thio in the care of the people in charge of the stable. Usually I take care of her but today I might be in big trouble.

I entered the house and heading towards the dining room where my parents should be. Before I open the door I take a deep breath and knock, it's not that I'm not allowed to enter my own home, I did that just to hear if my parents voice is angry.

"Enter", I hear my father voice. It's not scary so I calm down. Nothing can compare with my parents. No matter how brave you might be you cand do anything in front of your parents.

I entered in the room to face them.

"Good evening", I say.

"Where have you been, we were worried about you", I hear my mom voice.

"With Thio", I respond.

"You know that is dangerous to go near that forest, especially alone, just with your horse", father said.

"Dad, I'm about to have 18 years old, I can take care of myself outside of the forest and in the forest", I said.

"You've been in the forest?!" Mom asked nervously.

"Yes...only for a few hours, nothing to worry about. But anyway you do not have to care for me because, like I said I'm old enough to take care of myself. To drop this of, what is with that latter?"

"Watch how you speak, I let this slide this time. This is a letter from your uncle" dad replied.
