Liam Sophie had fallen asleep with her head snuggled into my chest and I glanced around the carriage, looking at all those normal people in their seats. Several were looking at a phone, similar to the one Sophie had before we broke it, others were staring into a bigger version. No one was talking with each other. A lot has happened since I last walked amongst humans, apparently. It was like they were oblivious to the world around them and its beauty, sucked into a fake and distant world. Nevertheless, I could get used to this, as long as Sophie was with me. When the train stopped, I gently woke her up, placing soft kisses on top of her shiny hair and took a deep whiff of her amazing sense to prepare me for what was going to happen now.
