“Are you okay!?” Evelyn asked me worriedly, as she fell to her knees beside me, grabbing my shoulders tightly. The pain radiated through my entire body. It was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Nothing I had ever experienced compared to the burning sensation traveling over my skin, as my stomach ached so horribly.
“They’re hurting him.” I whispered out in a hiss, feeling how tears were already forming in my eyes, thinking about them hurting him. Evelyn embraced me tightly as if she tried to absorb some of the pain, but unfortunately it was only meant for me to feel. “I wish he hadn’t marked me!” I cried out, feeling incredibly overwhelmed by the pain I was forced to feel.
