Sophie After a really long night almost completely deprived of any sleep, I was woken up to a burning pain. The skin on my chest and abdomen was prickling with pain, almost as if it was burning, a fire slowly engulfing my skin, piece by piece at a devastatingly slow pace. As tears welled up in my eyes, I kept them shut from the early morning sun, letting the pain travel through me while I tried my best not to scream out loud from the pain. I was not the only one affected by this whole ordeal and I knew Evelyn needed to rest as much as I did.
