It was easy to tell that the letter affected them both. Liam went completely rigid as every muscle in his body tensed. Across the table, I watched as Evelyn had a hard time holding the tears back and occasionally one escaped, staining the paper when it fell upon it. Emotionally, it must be difficult to find a letter from your parents, especially when it has been so long since they passed. What if Evelyn never decided to look at the album?
