Akira Ishikawa's POV Once again my brain stopped functioning due to this man. One moment I was explaining the fashion commandments to him, and the next thing happened he's already kissing me senselessly in the middle of the streets. When he's finally satisfied with his testosterone urges, he let go of my face and smiled down at my stun face. I smiled pleasantly in return in his direction. I felt that my jaw would c***k at the effort. "Next time you do that stunt in front of such crowd, darling. I promise you that I will cut your manhood." "So murderous, my dear wife." He grinned down at me. I could see that his gold eyes still clouded with desire. "Can't I kiss me own wife?" "No," I answered him as the pleasant smile in my face still in place. To the other people in the streets we might seem like we're having a perfectly normal conversation than threatening him with his maleness. "You cannot just kiss me in broad daylight in the middle of a busy street." He spread his hands slightly as if showing me that people around us doesn't mind our heated kissed. "People will just assume that we're on our honeymoon, I guess. That we're newlyweds, that we can't stop touching each other." "Yeah, right." I replied skeptically. "That's just your imagination, Kaito." He shook his head in resignation. "You are impossible, Akira. Why do you have to fight me in everything when I'm in your company?" I raised my chin in his direction, a sign of defiance. "That's me. I like to mess with other people. That's my personality so you better get used to it if you want this marriage to last." He gave me a warning look but before he could retort to my statement about our marriage his mobile phone sounded that made me feel annoyed remembering my own phone that was now at the bottom of the cliff thanks to this horrible man who couldn't control his temper. "Excuse me, wife." He said with a slight frowned in his strong eyebrows. "I have to take this. It's my secretary." "I will move a little farther to my irritated wife if I were you, darling." I warned him sweetly as he slid his finger to the screen of his device. "Because she's liable to throw your phone as far as her strength could carry to get even with you." He scowled in my direction as he started to walk away from me. "Are you still mad that I throw your phone below the cliff?" I placed both of my hands in each side of my waist. "Yes, you have no right to throw it. That phone is mine!" "Wait a moment, darling." He said, as he placed his mobile phone in his ear. "But I have to take this first. This will not take long, I promise." I watched him keenly as he took the phone call a little far away from me. I happened to notice the coffee shop across the street. I saw a trio of women sitting outside the coffee shop looking at him with such wistful longing. I snorted. Wherever he went, he's really the subject of woman's fantasy. Too bad, he's so tyrant and he's not taking no for an answer. "What? Now?" I heard him replied on the line as he glance briefly in my direction. "All right, fine. I'll go now." I raised my eyebrow in his direction as he ended the phone call. He walked back where I patiently waiting for him. "Problem?" I asked as soon as he stood in front of me. He rubbed his nape warily. "I'm sorry. I know that I promise to help you buy your new wardrobe but an emergency happened in the office. My presence is needed there immediately." I couldn't help but to smile at him. "Does this means that I need to shop alone for my clothes, Kaito?" "You don't need to show how blissful that idea to you, my wife." He commented dryly. "Do you really think that I will let you roam the city alone, Akira? I will just call Reo to help you around the city." I frowned at his aristocratic face intently. "Come on now, Kaito. I don't need your watchdog to follow me everywhere. I've been traveling around the world on my own since I was seventeen. I can manage on my own." "No," He contradicted firmly. "Everything changes now. You are now my wife and it's my duty as your husband to take good care of you and your safety." "You are not making any sense." I shook my head in resignation. But deep in my heart something lit at his words. I don't know why but I felt alarm at the emotion rush in inside me. "You don't have to understand everything, wife." He smiled dazzlingly in my direction that makes my heart jolt in the process. "Sometimes you have to trust your husband in taking good care of you." "Can I do that?" "Yes, my dear wife." Kaito stated his eyes glowed under the sunlight. "I know that you still have reservations about our marriage but I promise you that I will take good care of you and our baby." "That's probably an understatement." I muttered under my breath. Kaito laughed heartily. "Come on," He urged taking my hand to his and started to walk in the streets. "While waiting for Reo to arrive let's have lunch first. I know a good restaurant just down the lane." He led me to the slightly crowded restaurant in town. It wasn't the fancy restaurant I first imagine that likes to dine with. This one was a simple one but rather cozy in my opinion. The waitress greeted us and gave us the best table inside which is fine in my opinion. We sat in the vacant table near the window. "I don't know that you are eating in this kind of place." I commented as I look around the place interior. "It doesn't suit your personality." He smiled satisfactorily in my direction. "You don't know many things about me, wife. But I can assure you that we will learn more of each other over the years of our marriage." My lips twitched with a smile as I look back at him. "That's sound so promising. But in my ears, your words sound more like a threat than a promise." But before he could answer me, the waitress moved to our table to give us the menu and take our orders. "Thank you." I muttered with a smile. The red haired waitress was called to the other table. "Excuse me," She said after handing out to us the menu. "I will come back later to take your orders. Those people over there couldn't be satisfied with their orders." "That waitress and you could be very good friends." Kaito remarked as we browse the menu of the restaurant. "Pardon?" He glanced briefly in my direction before setting his gaze back on the menu. "I could feel that she has the same temper as yours." "Just because she's saying what's inside her head doesn't mean that she has a temper, Your Excellency." I retorted back with a smile. After awhile the waitress in question approached us again with annoyance in her distinctive green eyes. The eyes that is a shade darker than mine. "Are you ready to order?" She puffed an annoyed breath. I smiled at her pleasantly as I silently studied her appearance. From the nametag in her uniform her name was Saki. She has this classic beauty that I think I saw her somewhere before. "It seems that I'll be spending my Christmas here in Osaka." She muttered to herself as she waited for our orders. She's definitely not from this place. As we give our orders she's busy writing it in the small notebook in her hand. "Anything else?" "That would be all." Kaito announced firmly. "Okay," Saki answered with the haughty look in her face as she looked to him. I silently smiled as I watch her disappear from the kitchen door. "What's so amusing?" He asked in irritation as he focused his attention to me. "Nothing." I shook my head and tried to look serious while facing him. "Nothing at all. You look so suspicious, Kaito." He sat back from his chair and studied me. "Now do you believe that you and that waitress have something in common?" "Hmm," I pretend to think for a moment, I love seeing his annoyed face. "I don't think so. But I like her." When the woman in question arrived with our lunch, her green eyes flashed with defiance and rebellious ness in their depth. I must admit that we might have in common as Kaito said. "Have a nice lunch." Once she placed the delicious food in front of me couldn't wait to devour my food. I didn't eat much at breakfast because I'm still wary at breakfast that my morning sickness might attack me again even though I'm already on the second trimester of my pregnancy. Then the peaceful atmosphere inside the restaurant momentarily interrupted when a sinfully handsome man arrived with a dark-haired woman in his arms arrived. Everyone inside the room made curious about the newcomers. "Who's he?" I asked Kaito as I watched them confidently walk inside the little restaurant. Kaito glanced briefly in their direction before digging back his food. "He's Tetsuya Seiji, a billionaire shipping magnate. I don't know that he also likes this place." "Apparently, this place is the new hangout for billionaires now." I muttered digging back my food because I'm too famished to learn more about that man." "Look" He said with amusement in his voice as he wiped his mouth to his napkin. "Your best friend is the one who will take their order." I raised an eyebrow in his direction and search for the familiar red-haired waitress. I could see from our table that Tetsuya Seiji's date doesn't like the place where they dined. She's clearly complaining but the billionaire merely looked amuse about her outburst and my bestie was caught in the middle of it. "No way!" I barked laughter when the billionaire shipping magnate suddenly kissed Saki in the middle of the restaurant that stunned his date. "He's asking for a death wish." "He's crazy," Kaito commented dryly. "Finish your lunch now, Akira. I received a text message from Reo he's already here waiting for us." "Aye, aye, sir!"
