We walked to the lobby of the castle. Ariel, Max, Ayla and Alexander were waiting there for us. “How are you feeling?” Ariel asked and I gave her a soft smile.
“I am doing better… Let´s go… I can´t wait to talk to dad…” I said and Ayla nodded. I could feel the excitement of my sisters and the guys. And despite myself being excited as well, I was afraid. Afraid of dad´s reaction to being Dante´s mate, to carry his child and to defy everything he has taught me during my whole life.
Dante extended his hand for me to place mine within his, and immediately he wrapped his fingers around mine in a protective and reassuring way. I have no idea how, but he always knows what I need in my moments of fear and weakness.
