Caremila’s body lay attached by arrows to a wall of a crumbled building with a thud. None seemed to pierce her and as the wall fell by force further down.
Her eyes glared at me as a male voice spoke, “How dare you, child, I underestimated you. I didn’t think you had this potential but if I di---.”
“If you die that means you were worthless to begin with.”
Its eyes held panic as it struggled to no avail. The walls had crashed to the bottom with a roar.
Would Caremila really die from this? I wasn’t too sure. I stepped forward and saw that Luna had caught her at the bottom in a vice grip. I breathe a sigh of relief to see my young foolish apprentice still alive.Luna on the other hand I didn’t even hear her move. It had to be because of the amount of activity going on around me.
