“Let’s not go through that window,” Hunter said. “How about that one? Way up there?” Chekwe pointed towards the rectangular tower. Through the leaves of the mango tree Hunter could see smoke billowing out the window. The smoke swirled among branches that swayed with swarming goblins. One dropped from a branch, then another, and a third, the last one bouncing off at least three branches on its way down. “Roof’s too well defended,” Hunter said. A goblin came dashing around the bush they were using for concealment and Hunter speared it through the chest. It kicked and wriggled in death throes and Hunter looked back toward the wall.
