CHAPTER 43 The weekend rolled over without him noticing it. He was more eager to see the list to calm his nerves. All the while, he kept asking himself what will become of him if it later turned out that he didn't make the final list. What would become of him? Would it all be a wasted effort? What alternative will he be offered to compensate for the disappointment? How could he eventually accept Food and Science Technology as a better option? No, he does not feel right about it. No, it can't be possible. He began to weigh his options. Food and Science Technology was well out of the options he could consider. He could not do any other course than an engineering-related one. Yet, he would not mind going for computer science that is, if the worst scenario comes to the fore. That would mean
