"You came here to see your mother, have you done that?", Roy Dashiel asked her.
She didn't respond, her eyes stayed glued to the floor, but he knew very well that it was a wish yet to be fulfilled for her. Her step father hadn't allowed her the time to do that.
"I have granted you your freedom, I won't stop you from doing certain things, but that doesn't mean you can just leave without my permission. You know I'd find out anyway.", his mechanical voice echoed in her ears.
