Okay. This is uncomfortable.
We're currently inside of the jewelry shop to search for a perfect fit jewelry. Guess who my company is today, it's Aiden's step-mother. She's on my side browsing the magazine given to us when we enter the shop, and she seems to go there often because everyone knows her.
Also, she knows how this thing works.
"Look at this emerald, Cassie. Does it look beautiful?" She showed me the picture and that necklace was ravishing.
"Yeah. It looks beautiful."
She keeps browsing while I'm not comfortable in my seat. Apart from the fact this is my first time entering such an extravagant jewelry shop, I'm uncomfortable with her presence. She was Aiden's step-mother, and she's also kind and nice. But I felt so awkward.
