Wendy spiced up the story. She worked to make Olivia sound bad but couldn't hide her envy.
"She's working in such a nice place that she's all arrogant now. She kept insulting me. I admit that R.E is rich, but she doesn't respect you at all! She calls you by your first name as if you're not her father!"
Seeing that Eason wasn't reacting, Wendy continued, "Darling, why do you still want her to come back? The company is doing well all because of your efforts! You were tricked by Lillian too! Plus, you already gave enough compensation and asked Olivia to come back. But her attitude really disappoints me.
"Honestly, I feel so bad seeing how you're still caring for her. If she cares for you at all—"
"Is that what you really think?" Eason asked. He drank some soup and looked up.
"Of course!"
