Annies Night Out

1239 Words
# # # Morning came fast. Charles woke up alone in his bed, drenched in a puddle of sweat. He couldn’t believe the dream he had. Every bit of it felt real, Aurora's lips, her taste, the way she made his heart pound in his chest. It had been so long since he’d felt that way. Trying to brush off the thoughts of Aurora, Charles got out of bed and got dressed in some comfortable jeans and a loose T-shirt. He headed downstairs towards the kitchen to prepare breakfast, hoping that if he threw himself into the day that he would forget the drink he had had the night before. The back doors to the patio were left open. The section of the house that led towards the yard was cold. Charles could feel chills as he got closer towards the door. The floors were wet, with the early morning dew leaving the elegant white marble tile floor soaked and dirty. Charles felt a slight shiver down his spine. Shutting the back doors, he noticed outside that Sherri was sleeping, and next to her was Marcus. Charles was not surprised by this. He and Sherri had not been intimate for some time and, from the beginning of their marriage, were always sleeping in separate sections of the house. Charles, no longer feeling guilty about the dream he had and the feelings that came with it, cleaned up the floor and headed to the kitchen to start on coffee and breakfast. Annie had gotten in after the sun came up. She had never felt so alive, so free. Everyone in the house was still sleeping. Not to her surprise, her mother and Marcus were outside. Aurora was in the extra bed in her room and Charles was in the kitchen cooking all kinds of delicious food. Had Charles seen her mother outside? Did he care? Annie never understood their relationship but was happy about it since it saved her and her mother from becoming outcasts. In the packs, if a female were, no matter her status, unwed, she would be looked at as a spinster, pariah or as a stray and eventually would be left out of pack gatherings and forgotten about. Annie and her mother were exceptionally blessed, not only because Charles had married Sherri, but because he was the brother to the alpha of the Onyx pack. Being the alpha’s step-niece had many benefits, and Annie loved every one of them. Annie ran past the smell of breakfast and headed towards the stairs; she could not wait to tell Aurora about her night. Going up the stairs faster than ever before, Annie ran straight to her room. She saw Aurora tucked into the extra bed in her room and got in and snuggled up behind her. Aurora let out a small moan. “Mmm good morning baby,” she said with a stretch. “Baby? What are you dreaming about?” Annie teased. Aurora snapped her head up and realized that she had been dreaming. “Anyway, wake up, I have so much to tell you!” Annie was chipper than ever. She sat up on the bed and started bouncing. Aurora snapped her head up, realizing she had slept the whole night in Annie’s room. Was last night just a dream? “What time is it?” Aurora asked. “And what time did you get home?” Aurora sat up and rubbed her eyes. The sun was so bright, but Annie’s cheerfulness was brighter. “You will not believe everything I am about to tell you. So,” Annie began, she sat straight up and folded her hands in her lap. “Well, for starters, I do not necessarily remember my transition really. I remember we were in the front room with my mom talking, and then I remember being on all fours and I could smell everything! It was so intense, and the colors were so much more vibrant and beautiful. And I remember smelling you. My wolf was so happy with your scent. But as I was smelling you, I picked up the trace of this smell that had my mouth watering. So, I started to follow the scent. My wolf kept pushing me to just keep going, with every step, no matter how far it was. She knew that the scent was our mate, so she pushed me until I got outside the house. I had never seen this house before. But then again, I have not been to many of our fellow peers’ homes. So, what would I know about anybody and their living conditions? Right? Well, anyway, so I am standing outside this house on all four paws, and I can just smell this amazing scent, like it is just so incredible. It is so hard to describe all the different things I could smell. It was like all of my favorite things in one. Cherries, flowers, ice cream, it was just the most erotic sweet-smelling smell. And the way it had me feeling!! So, on all four paws, I walked towards the house and, before I knew it, a big brown and black wolf came busting through the side where there was this fence and tackled me! It was my mate! We rolled and tossed around with one another, until we were somewhere in this field, and our wolves licked each other all over. As we would sniff and rub up on each other, I could just feel all the electricity and vibrations in my body connecting with this other wolf. It was not like anything I had ever imagined, and I did not care who it was. I just did not care. Even after all the dreaming and fantasizing, it did not matter. He made me feel like I was his only source of life. So here I am with this other wolf,” Annie said. She was starting to build up the story with her hands at this point. “And I am with this wolf, and we are just cuddled up, we were snuggled up with one another, and I can feel myself transitioning back to human. It was the most beautiful experience. Here I am stretching my fingers and toes completely naked, and my mate was transitioning into his human form naked as well!! And you would think we would be embarrassed, but instead I looked him deep in his eyes and, before I knew it, in the middle of this grass field, and I was making love to my mate!! Declan kissed me and touched me with so much love Aurora, it was the ultimate experience!” She was grinning ear to ear. “Wait, wait, did you say Declan?” Aurora interrupted. Annie smiled sheepishly. Putting her hands over her face, she nodded. Annie and Aurora both erupted into joyful screams. Jumping up and down and hugging. Annie had manifested her dream come true. It was like a part of her knew he was her mate, even before her transition. “So, what did you do last night?” Annie asked Aurora. Aurora knew she could not tell Annie about her dream. It would only make things awkward. And Aurora just wanted to forget about it completely. “I went straight to bed after you left,” she replied. Not bringing up the weirdness she witnessed with Sherrie and Marcus, or her wild dream.
