[Samara] Ben’s movements are slow and careful, and I can’t help but think of the last time we hiked up this trail. Everything is different now. Ben isn’t the one leading the way. Shane, Keesha, Leslie, and Dylan are new, and Heather doesn’t just have eyes for Wesley, and he doesn’t just have eyes for Heather. It’s somewhat surreal and I sighed softly to myself. The biggest difference – and in my opinion, the best – is that we have additional people to help carry the motherload. “How did we do this before?” Heather questioned aloud and I laughed. “I was just thinking that,” I remarked. “My backpack is so…light,” “Right?” Heather’s smile was bright, and I realized that this was exactly what we needed. “Shut up, you guys are just spoilt,” Ben commented, and I smiled. He wasn’t wrong. “
