Her Mate, His Everything

Chapter 3

**Miles POV**

"Alpha a female rogue has crossed into your territory. What do you want me to do with her?" Shawn my head warrior says through mind-link. "Take her to the dungeon and have her tortured to see what she knows," I say back too busy to deal with it myself.

I am going over paperwork on my desk when I hear a knock on my door. "Come in," I say out loud. When the door opens I don't bother to look up. "Hey baby," Stella says as she walks into my office.

For the past year, she has been my mistress. But she thinks she is Luna and it's my fault I haven't put her in her place. I should but I don't see me finding my mate anytime soon so she is a good distraction. Plus she is hot as hell.

"Hey, what do you need Stella?" I say to her not even looking at her. "Well I was hoping to talk to you about something," she says almost seductively. "What would you like to talk about?" I say looking over another document on my desk.

"Well I was hoping we could have a formal mating and Luna ceremony," she says to me kinda shy like she didn't really want to voice it. At that moment I finally put down my paperwork and look at her. I know I haven't found my mate but I know is she still out there.

"Have you lost your f*****g mind?" I almost scream at her. "What makes you think for one minute that I would mate you and make you Luna? You are just the w***e I sleep with. You are nothing but a pass of time." I say this with so much rage.

I can't believe this I guess it's now or never to put her in her place. "But Miles I rejected my mate for you. I thought you loved me?" She screams while crying into her hands.

"Love you? I don't love you I have never loved you. I shouldn't have let this go on for as long as I have but Stella it's over I am done. I'll focus more on finding my mate" I say finally. Just as I speak the last word Stella turns around and runs out of my office.

Thank Goddess that's over with. I go back to reading the files in my hand. I have so much to get done and I need to talk to Shawn about the rogue girl.

"Shawn come to my office," I say through mind-link. About 15 minutes later Shawn walks into my office. I smell something the moment he walks in but I don't harp on it but I can feel my wolf stir awake.

I put the wall up between me and Blake my wolf I'm not in the mood for what he has to say. "So tell me about the rogue girl you captured," I say to him looking at my watch for the time.

"Nothing to tell really. She ran into our territory, she said she was being chased by someone and I hit her hard into a tree. She didn't seem like a normal rogue she said she is the last one from the Silent Moon pack and they were all slaughtered," he says and at that moment I look at him.

"The Silent Moon pack I haven't heard about them in 10 years since I was 17. My dad had a treaty with them but then everyone was killed," I say. I need to look more into this.

"Treat her like we do any other rogue we capture until we find out who she really is," I say and put my focus back onto the rest of my work.

After hours of work and meetings, I can finally return to my room. I take the elevator at the end of the hall up to my suite. No one can go into my suite without the pin which changes every hour and I get a text telling me the code when it's changed.

I may live in a castle but it's updated. You have to have a code to enter any room in the castle. This means when one of the omegas comes up to clean my room they have an hour to get it done.

Once I am in my suite I go into my kitchen and fix me something to eat. The kitchen staff only fixes meals for everyone else I prefer to cook my own meals. "Alpha I hate to disturb you but she isn't talking it's the same story every time," Mark my beta tells me through mind-link.

"OK since she can't tell time down there have your men go in every 12 hours I'll come down tomorrow and have a talk with this rogue," I say back and shut off the link. She will think it's been a few days since you can't tell time and there is no light to tell night from day.

I finish fixing my dinner. I made a salad and a steak rare just the way I like it.

After my dinner, I wash my dishes and take a shower before I climb into my massive bed.
