“I’m so happy you are back!” Abigail said with so much excitement laced in her tone as she pulled me for a hug.
“It was just for one day but it feels like a week already. Do you know how worried I was? I was close to telling your mum but I knew she’d freak out and so I did what I thought was best and informed Lucien. I had to go find it and it was through luck that I could get past the receptionist and have him tell them to let me through,” she explained all in one breath.
I pulled back from the hug and stared at her frantically. “You were the one who told Lucien? You went to his office?”
