The first sensation that struck me was the gradual loss of this feeling of lightness and the immediate return to the sensation of the body’s weight. I opened my eyes for a moment and slammed them shut immediately, it was unbearably bright while the rest of my body felt the warm coming back to my limbs. I choked, my throat tight and raw as if I had lacked fresh air for far too long and each time needed to struggle to breathe.
