Chase I didn't sleep much. Again. Every time I close my eyes, I see the same thing. Clara, surrounded by Shadows. Her wolf howling across the battlefield, forcing every creature to bow. Then the darkness swallowed her. I woke up before sunrise with my wolf pacing restlessly inside my head. Three days. She had been gone three days. And every hour without a lead feels like failure. I pull on my shirt and head downstairs toward the dining hall. The pack is already gathering for breakfast.
