It was Friday, which meant there were only four days until Heno had to be stopped on Kula Mountain. Trace and Kaos and his other nightmare-free teammates were excited about the coming soccer match, but Kire was filled with dread and fear.
Needless to say, his meeting with the shrink his parents took him to ended up being a colossal failure. If he even admitted that he was on a team of five people with powers they didn’t yet understand and that there was an alien planning to send a living fire to devour the planet, the shrink would’ve had him admitted to a hospital.
So, he lied that he was just a bit stressed about school and soccer and was having nightmares about forgetting to turn in assignments. The shrink eyed him suspiciously but didn’t press him further.
