“Don’t you try to play a prank on me, Kire,” Kaos said, eyes welling up with tears. “I’ll kill you. I’ll break your spine and c***k your sku—”
“Wh-what is that?” Amberly whimpered. Emerging from the end of the dark corridor they were in was a pink glow of light.
“Hey, guys, that light is coming towards us,” Trace said, pointing at the pink glow inching towards them. The glow lit up the darkness like a signal flare shot into the sky; though they couldn’t see the source of the light, the glow grew more intense with each passing second.
“Hey, Kire, you’re the smart one. What is it?” asked Trace.
“I don’t know, you tell me,” said Kire.
They all stood in panicked silence for a few moments before Kire said, “My candid advice to you all is to go headfirst.”
