Axel used to both love and loathe Snake doing that, and Sela found she was laughing, too, though fear hovered close by. Snake risked ruining everything.

Snake guided his lips down the side of Axel’s face to his jaw, Axel moving towards him, turning his head into the kiss, a hand rising to Snake’s nape, controlling, angling their mouths to meet, the exploration, deep and probing.
