3 AM. Red Moon Pack territory.
Damien stood at the border with 200 wolves. His eyes were gold.
"Burn it," he said quietly.
Fire.
They attacked.
Kade was waiting. "You came for her?" He held the baby up.
"Surrender and I might give her back."
Damien shifted. 9 feet tall. Alpha wolf.
"You should have killed me when you had the chance."
The fight was brutal. 1 hour. Blood everywhere.
Damien found Kade in the throne room.
Leo was tied to a chair. Baby crying in a crib.
"Let them go," Damien growled.
Kade pointed a knife at the baby. "Or what?"
Damien didn't answer. He moved.
One second. Kade's head was on the floor.
"Alpha!" Leo screamed.
Damien ran to her. Cut the ropes. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
Then to the crib. He picked up their daughter. "Shh... Daddy's here."
Leo collapsed in his arms. "You came."
"I promised," he whispered. "I always will."

1 WEEK LATER
---
Coronation.
Leo stood beside Damien. Moonstone crown on her head.
Damien burst through the door.
"LEO!"
The room was dark. 3 rogues. Blood on the floor.
One rogue had a knife at Leo’s throat.
"Don't move, Alpha," the rogue sneered.
Damien's eyes turned gold. "Let her go."
He moved. So fast.
First rogue - punch to the face. Bone cracked.
Second rogue - grabbed Aria.
"She's worth a lot right?" he laughed.
"Don't touch her," Damien growled. He grabbed the rogue by the neck and slammed him to the wall. CRACK.
The third rogue ran. Damien caught him and broke his arm.
Silence.
Damien ran to Leo. His hands shook as he cut the ropes.
"You're safe," he whispered, pulling her into his chest. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I was late."
Leo cried into his shirt. "You came. I knew you would."
"I'll always come for you," Damien promised.
The next morning.
Leo woke up in Damien's arms. Sunlight came through the window.
For the first time in months, she didn't feel scared.
"Morning, Luna," Damien whispered, kissing her forehead.
"Morning, Alpha," Leo smiled.
Their daughter stirred in the crib. "Mama..."
Both of them ran to her.
Damien picked up the baby. "Look who it is. Princess of Blackwood."
Leo’s heart melted. "She has your eyes."
Later, the pack came to see them. 500 wolves. All bowing.
"We serve Luna Leo," they said.
Leo stood tall. No more fear. No more running.
This was her home. That night.
Snow fell outside the window. The castle was quiet.
Damien wrapped a blanket around Leo’s shoulders. "Cold?"
Leo shook her head and leaned into him. "No. Not with you."
Their daughter slept peacefully between them.
"I never thought I'd have this," Leo whispered. "A family. Peace."
Damien kissed her hair. "You deserve all of it. And more."
"I love you," Leo said.
"I love you too," Damien replied. "My Luna. My mate. My forever."
Outside, the wolves howled to the moon.
Inside, the Alpha and his Luna finally had the home they fought for.
