The moon was full.
Leo stood on the balcony of the Blackwood Pack castle, holding their daughter.
"Look, baby. That's our moon."
"Ma-ma," the little girl babbled, grabbing Leo’s hair.
"That's right. Mama and Daddy."
Behind her, Damien wrapped his arms around both of them.
"Still staring at the moon, Luna?" he teased.
Leo leaned back into him. "Just remembering."
Remembering the fear. The pain. The kidnapping.
And how he came for her.
"Regrets?" Damien kissed her neck.
"Never," Leo whispered. "You're my Alpha. My mate. My home."
Their daughter giggled between them.
"Family meeting," Damien announced. "The pack is waiting for Luna and the little princess."
Downstairs, 500 wolves were gathered. All cheering.
"LUNA! LUNA! LUNA!"
Leo walked out, head high, Damien on one side, baby on the other.
This was her pack now.
That night, in their bed.
Baby asleep in the crib beside them.
Damien pulled Leo close. "You did it. You're the best Luna we've ever had."
Leo traced his mating mark. "Only because you never gave up on me."
"I never will," he promised. "Not in this life. Not in any life."
Outside, the wolves howled to the moon.
And inside, the Alpha and his Luna finally had peace.
The moon was full that night.
Leo stood on the balcony of the Blackwood castle, holding their daughter.
"Look, baby. That's our moon," she whispered.
"Ma-ma," the little girl babbled, grabbing Leo’s hair.
"That's right. Mama and Daddy," Leo smiled, kissing her forehead.
Behind her, Damien wrapped his arms around both of them.
"Still staring at the moon, Luna?" he teased softly.
Leo leaned back into his chest. "Just remembering."
Remembering the pain. The fear. The kidnapping.
And how he came for her anyway.
"Regrets?" Damien kissed her neck.
"Never," Leo whispered. "You're my Alpha. My mate. My home."
Damien smiled against her skin. "You made me a better man."
Downstairs, 500 wolves were celebrating. Bonfires lit the snow.
"LUNA! LUNA! LUNA!" they chanted.
Leo walked out with Damien, head high. No more fear.
This was her pack now.
That night, baby asleep in the crib beside them.
Fire crackling in the room. Peace at last.
The fire crackled softly. Snow fell outside the window.
For the first time in a year, there was no fear. No pain. Just home.
Damien pressed a kiss to Leo’s temple. "Happy?"
Leo nodded, tears in her eyes. "More than happy. I'm whole."
Their daughter stirred in the crib and made a little sound.
Both of them smiled at the same time.
"This is it," Damien whispered. "This is our forever."
"Our forever," Leo agreed.
The moonlight shone through the window, bathing them in silver.
Outside, the pack howled one last time.
Inside, the Alpha held his Luna, and finally... they were home.
The next morning.
Sunlight came through the curtains. The castle felt warm.
Leo woke up to Damien watching her.
"What?" she smiled sleepily.
"Just looking at my Luna," he said. "My favorite sight."
Their daughter crawled onto the bed between them, laughing.
"Family breakfast?" Damien asked, lifting them both up.
Downstairs, the kitchen smelled like pancakes.
The whole pack had gathered.
"To the Alpha and Luna!" Beta James raised his mug.
"To family!" everyone cheered.
Leo looked around. One year ago she was scared and alone.
Now she had this. Love. A pack. A home.
Later, Damien pulled her aside.
"Thank you," he whispered.
"For what?" Leo asked.
"For choosing me. For staying. For making me believe in forever."
Leo kissed him. "Always. My Alpha. My mate. My forever."
