26. Our pups are something else
Nathaniel’s POV
So much information, my head is spinning. We didn’t have time to ask questions because a portal opened and the four witches came through it. We all greeted them warmly and Selene said her goobies to us.
Selene sat on the floor in lotus position and we were told to form a circle around her along with the witches. They needed our energy. Odette started chanting something in a foreign language, then Genevieve joined her, then Merriah and finally Harlow. They kept repeating the same chant over and over again.
We felt wind swirling around us as their voices became louder and louder. Their power was suffocating us. Selene’s body started glowing stronger and stronger until it was too bright to look at it. I closed my eyes and suddenly everything stopped and darkness engulfed me.

I felt someone shaking my shoulder.
“Daddy, wake up.”
“Zane?” I grunted. I opened my eyes and looked around. The witches were gone and the rest of us were on the floor. Lorelei, Jasmine and Zane were trying to wake us.
“Cary?” I called for my mate. I looked around once again but she wasn’t there
“Daddy, wake up” Lorelei shook Danny
“Lory? Jassy?” he grunted
Everyone started to stir and wake up. I tried to stand up, supporting my body weight on the bed frame. Danny did the same.
“Where are Ben, Rob and our mates?” Danny asked me. I furrowed my eyebrows.
“Daddy, we need to go to the hospital. Mommy and aunty Cary wouldn’t wake up but the babies were coming and only Robby and Benny woke up and they took them to the hospital.” Jasmine explained
“Let’s go” I started to walk but I stumbled and fell on my face.
Jasmine came to me and kissed both of my eyes, she did the same to Danny who was also struggling to get on his feet. Suddenly I felt a surge of energy and the fatigue was gone. What did just happen? I gave Danny a confused look but he just shrugged his shoulders and headed to the door.
We will figure this out later. We must go to our mates now.
Danny and I reached the hospital in record time. Not only did the fatigue disappear but I felt stronger and faster, like my strength was boosted. I opened the door to the room where I was told that Cary was in.
“How is my mate?” I asked the doctor, forgetting my good manners.
“Her vitals are good, Alpha. She is just a bit tired but the baby is fine. She is just… exhausted?” he scratched the back of his neck. “The betta is in the same condition. If they don’t wake up or wake up too weak we will have to do a c-section. Don’t worry, though. Either way I don’t see any danger for the Luna or the pup”
“I will go check the betta female if you allow me, Alpha” he bowed
“Yeah, sure”
When the doctor left the room I laid on the bed next to Cary and held her in my hands. I heard what the doctor said but I wanted her to wake up. I wanted to see her beautiful eyes and hear her voice. The door opened and Jasmine popped her head in.
“Hey sweetheart, are you looking for your mommy?” I asked her
“No” she shook her head. “Aunty is first. Tell the doctor to come, it is time." She came closer and climbed on the bed and kissed Cary's forehead.
We already knew not to doubt our pup’s cryptic messages so I mindlinked the doctor immediately. Jassy left and I saw Cary’s beautiful eyes staring at me. A gentle smile on her face made me lose control and smash my lips on hers.
Someone clearing their throat interrupted us. I almost forgot where we were.
“May I check the Luna?” the doctor asked. I just nodded and got out of the bed but stood next to Cary. I am not leaving her side.
“She is ready to push”

A couple of hours later I was holding my daughter in my hands. She looked beautiful and I knew right away that she would be my weakness, daddy’s little princess.
“May I hold my daughter, please?” Cary said softly
“I’m not sure, love. I don’t think I am ready to be away from her” Cary giggled, I joined her with my own laughter. I gave her my.. I mean our daughter. Zane opened the door and climbed the bed next to Cary.
“Hey, sweetheart. Meet your baby sister” my mate told our son.
“Hi, baby sis, you are so sweet.” he cooed and kissed her cheek
Cary looked at me with teary eyes and I smiled at her softly. Our family is perfect.
“What are we going to call her?” I asked Cary. We discussed names but none seemed to touch us so we decided we will figure it out when we see our pup.
“Freyah” Zane said
“Sky” Cary said at the same time
“Freyah Sky Moore. I love it” I smiled and joined my family in the bed
“I wonder how is Ella doing” Cary said
“How are things with you, brother? Our little princess was born a few minutes ago.” I linked Danny
“Everything is perfect. We just had our boy and the girls came to see him. They actually had the perfect name in mind” Danny mused. I could feel his proud smile through the link
“Same here, Zane gave the perfect name to his baby sister. Freyah Sky Moore. Our pups are something else” I chuckled.
“Jayden Lee Moore” I could imagine the smirk on his face
“They are fine. Ella gave birth to a healthy boy around the same time as you. Jayden Lee Moore. Guess who named him” I chuckled
“Our pups are something else” Caroline shook her head smiling
“That’s what I said." I kissed Cary’s cheek. Zane fell asleep on the bed, Freyah holding his finger, also sleeping.
“Have some rest, my love. I will look after you and the pups” I told Cary and she closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.

Gabriella’s POV
“I can’t believe we gave birth at the same time,” I exclaimed. We were just released from the hospital to come home with our newborns and I was sitting with Cary in the nursery we had created to spend time together while looking after our pups. We noticed that the time on both birth certificates were the same.
“Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to our pups.” Cary shook her head.
“Did you know that Jasmine visited me right before I gave birth? I was so tired, I was in and out of consciousness and I wasn’t sure if it really happened or I dreamed of it, but Nate confirmed it. She kissed me and left. Then the fatigue was gone like it was never there.” Cary asked me
“I was in the same condition. Danny said the doctors said they would probably need to perform c-section. I thought I dreamt of Jassy but now that you said that, I am starting to think it wasn’t a dream.”
“Do you think Jassy gave us power or something? Maybe that’s her power?” Cary asked
“It could be. Maybe I should ask her?” I said. “Jassy, baby, please come here for a second”
“Yes, mommy?” she ran to me giggling
“Baby, can you explain to us what your special gift is? Do you know what it is?” I asked my little princess
“I don’t know what it is called, mommy. I sometimes feel that I have to touch someone because I see something around them glowing in a weird way.” she tried to explain
“Did you do that for me and aunty Cary before we gave birth?”
“Yes and also uncle Nate and daddy. They couldn’t wake up and we asked Robby and Benny to take you to the hospital. They woke up first.”
“Alright, baby girl, we will figure it out. How did you know you can trust Ben and Rob to take us to the hospital?” I asked curiously
“I told her, aunty. I know when someone is good or bad.” Zane said, I didn’t notice when Lorelei and Zane joined us
“How are you able to do that, sweetheart? Is this your special gift?” I asked him
“Yes, part of it. I see their glow and know if it is good. It is different from what Jassy sees. But I can tell someone’s intentions but grown-ups are hard to figure out sometimes. They feel too many things. It is easier when Lory and Jassy are close. Our gifts are stronger then. When we found you in the room sleeping, Robby and Benny were waking up. I saw their glow and it was warm. We told them to take you but they didn’t want to leave us alone. and when our daddies ran to you Rob and Ben came and stayed with us. They took us to the hospital to see you and waited with us in the waiting room.” Zane explained. I notices Lorelei was looking at him amazed
“Aren’t you a smart boy!” I exclaimed and he puffed his chest proudly
“I am not a boy, aunty. I am a man” he said, puffing his chest even more. Carry giggled
“Okay, Zane, you are a smart young man. Is that better?” I said seriously and he nodded. The three cousins ran away to play
“What do you think their gifts are? Is it healing? And what is that glow Zane is talking about?” Cary asked me
“I think Zane can see people’s auras. And Jasmine maybe boosts people’s abilities… I am not sure.” I thought out loud
“I didn’t feel boosted when she kissed me though. It felt more like the fatigue was gone… neutralized maybe?” Cary said
“Hm… maybe her powers work as an antidote of sorts?”
