As his familiars recover, Lucas begins the gruesome task of dismantling the spider corpses. He carefully extracts the monster materials and cores, taking note of their potential uses and values. As Lucas grasps the Spider Queen's Beast Core, the system generates a new holographic message in his mind: [Beast Core Extraction Option] Would you like to extract one of the Spider Queen Arachne's skills? Available Skills: 1. Web Trap 2. Venomous Strike 3. Spider Swarm 4. Web Barrier Extracting a skill will consume the Beast Core and grant you the chosen ability. However, the process is irreversible. Lucas pauses, considering the options presented to him. Each skill offers unique advantages that could enhance his capabilities as a hunter. The Web Trap could be useful for controlling the battlefield, while the Venomous Strike could add a new dimension to his attacks. The Spider Swarm could provide additional support in combat, and the Web Barrier could serve as a defensive measure. After careful consideration, Lucas decides to extract the Spider Swarm skill. He believes that having a group of smaller spider minions at his disposal could prove invaluable in various situations, providing both offensive and defensive capabilities. Lucas focuses his will on the Spider Queen's Beast Core, selecting the Spider Swarm skill from the list of available options. The core pulses with a bright, pulsating energy as the extraction process begins. The core dissolves in Lucas's hand, its power merging with his own as the Spider Swarm skill becomes a part of his repertoire. He can feel the new ability settling into his mind, its potential waiting to be unleashed. With the skill extraction complete, Lucas turns his attention back to the portal that has appeared nearby. The gate shimmers and pulsates, beckoning him to step through and return to the world above. Lucas knows that he has accomplished much within the dungeon, having defeated powerful monsters and acquired valuable skills and materials. Lucas focuses his will, and the shadowy forms of his wolf familiars dissipate, returning to the realm of shadows from whence they came. He feels a pang of sadness at their departure, but knows that they will be summoned again when needed. With a determined stride, Lucas approaches the shimmering portal that leads back to the surface. He pauses for a moment, taking a deep breath and steeling himself for the journey ahead. As he steps through the gate, the world around him shifts and blurs. The cavern walls fade away, replaced by the familiar sights and sounds of the city streets. Lucas emerges from the dungeon, blinking in the bright sunlight as his eyes adjust to the change in environment. The street outside the dungeon is bustling with activity, hunters and civilians alike going about their daily lives. Lucas notices a group of highranking hunters standing nearby, their eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. As Lucas approaches, one of the hunters, a tall and muscular man with a scar running down his cheek, turns to face him. "Well, well, well," the hunter says, his gaze sweeping over Lucas's disheveled appearance. "Look what we have here. A little Erank who thinks he can handle a dungeon solo. And from the looks of it, you barely survived." The hunter's companions snicker, their eyes filled with amusement and contempt. Lucas's grip tightens on his bag of monster materials, his jaw clenched in annoyance. "Excuse me," Lucas replies, trying to keep his voice calm and steady. "I'm just returning from the dungeon. If you'll excuse me, I have things to attend to." As Lucas tries to push past the hunters, the scarred man blocks his path, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "Not so fast, kid," he sneers. "I don't think you understand the gravity of your actions. By entering that dungeon alone, you put the entire city at risk. What if you hadn't made it out? What if the monsters had followed you back?" Lucas Raises his eyebrow questioningly, first of all I got trapped inside, and secondly the dungeon Gate as been cleared. Don't believe me ? where's the gate then Genuis?, OH wait it was Cleared by me so naturally it dissappears. The scarred hunter's eyes narrow, his grip tightening on his sword hilt. "You expect me to believe that a lowly Erank like you cleared the dungeon gate? Don't make me laugh." He leans in closer, his face inches from Lucas's. "I've been hunting for years, and I've never seen an Erank capable of such a feat. You're either lying or incredibly arrogant." Lucas stands his ground, his expression unyielding. "Believe what you want. The fact remains that the gate is gone, and the dungeon is clear. The scarred hunter's companions exchange skeptical glances, their amusement fading as they sense the tension between their leader and the mysterious Erank. The hunter's face contorts with anger, his hand now firmly gripping the hilt of his sword. "You think you're clever, don't you? Making up stories to impress us. Well, let me tell you something, kid. I don't appreciate being insulted by the likes of you." He draws his sword, the blade gleaming in the sunlight. "I think it's time someone taught you a lesson about respect. What do you say, boys? Shall we give this little Erank a demonstration of what a real hunter can do?" The other hunters smirk, their hands reaching for their own weapons. The situation quickly escalates, with Lucas now facing a group of armed and hostile Sranks. Lucas's mind races, weighing his options. He knows he's outmatched in terms of raw power and experience. However, he also knows that he possesses unique abilities and skills that could turn the tide of the confrontation. He glances around, taking note of the crowded street and the innocent bystanders nearby. Lucas shakes his head, Typical behavior from an arrogant second generation snob. you sir need to get right with God, before its too late for you. Lucas then Steps into the Man's Shadow with his belongings and uses Shadow Step to leave the Group of Hunters and Lucas Continues to use shadow step until he is long gone and away from the Scene. Lucas's words seem to catch the scarred hunter off guard, his anger momentarily replaced by confusion. "What did you say to me, you insolent brat?" Before the hunter can react, Lucas activates his Shadow Step ability. In an instant, he disappears from sight, his form merging with the shadows at the hunter's feet. The scarred man stumbles back, his sword swinging wildly as he tries to locate his target. Lucas emerges from the shadows a short distance away, his belongings still clutched tightly in his hands. He doesn't hesitate, immediately activating Shadow Step again and again, weaving through the crowded street and leaving the group of hunters far behind. The hunters shout and curse, but their efforts to pursue Lucas are hampered by the presence of innocent bystanders. They can't risk causing harm to civilians in their pursuit of the elusive E-rank.
