“Okay.” My short answer.

“Also, Princess June. Princess Demitry is coming here today, she wants to discuss something about you. Probably about the incident yesterday. ” He added.

I made a face. Dang, I need some peaceful time with myself and I. I really don’t want to see the other princess because I’m always in a bad mood with what’s happening to me, pure misfortune. Far away Demitry I was surprised when he suddenly took my hand.

“But did you forget our promise?” He brought that up again, which made me feel guilty. But I shouldn”t be guilty, he was the first to break the promise. Why can”t I do the same?

“Which one? We have made many promises. ” I lied, I knew which promise he meant.

“You promise to marry me and be the Queen of the Empire.” I bit my lips, weird.

Don’t you hate me? Didn’t you say you don’t like me? Why bring that s**t up?

“No, you misheard.” I answered him weakly. “I promise you that I will marry the man I��� LOVE “and I will be his Queen. The man I love, wasn”t you. ”

“What?” His voice cracked.

“I don’t love you anymore.”

Promises? They were made to be broken.

Chapter 6: Is he broken?

“That will be king and you will marry someone.” I add to what I said. “You will love her all your life.”

You will love her more than anything, more than your childhood friend that you”ve made a promise with. More than… the empire.

“What did I do…? Did I do something wrong? ” He asked. I gave him a puzzled look.

“You didn’t do anything wrong.” Not yet.

“It’s just like that? You will break the promise just like that? ” Break? No, you were the first to ruin.

“Break? Oh no, I will still do my promise. I will marry the man I love, and he will love me the same love I gave him. I will be his Queen. ” I smiled at him.

There were a long silence. You can hear the birds chirping, and you can feel the strong winds.

“Ok, so you”re sure you”re backing out?” he glanced at me while saying that. His voice is back to normal, his intense presence too.

“Yes, I will be a knight instead.” My short answer is, I might be slippery again to say that it’s difficult.

“What-” I cut him off, I already heard it. I just repeated it a little so that I might hear something wrong again

Maddy quickly arranged for me and left immediately. I haven’t done anything in the academy since class is on Monday. Why are we in such a hurry to go there.

“Princess June, everything you need is ready.” I nodded. She sighed and hold both of my hands. “Good luck Princess”

I smiled at her and nodded again.

“I’ll see you in 2 years Maddy.” I told him.
