Episode 2 : The Fairy’s Gift

201 Words
As the moon rose high and silver over the garden, Cinderella knelt beside the old oak tree and cried softly. Her stepmother and stepsisters had gone to the royal ball, leaving her behind in torn clothes and broken dreams. “If only I could go,” she whispered again. Suddenly, a gentle voice floated through the night. “Why are you crying, my dear?” Cinderella looked up to see a woman wrapped in shimmering light. Her eyes sparkled like stars, and her smile glowed with kindness. “Who… who are you?” Cinderella asked. “I’m your Fairy Godmother,” the woman said warmly. “And you, my child, shall go to the ball.” With a wave of her wand, the garden burst into magic. A pumpkin turned into a golden carriage, mice became proud white horses, and Cinderella’s rags shimmered into a gown of silver and blue, glistening like moonlight. As she twirled in awe, the Fairy Godmother warned gently, “Remember, my dear — when the clock strikes midnight, the magic will fade.” Cinderella nodded, heart racing with joy and hope. Tonight, she would see the palace. Tonight, she would dance like she’d never dreamed possible.
