We're Just Going to Talk
*Monroe's POV* Returning to Maddy’s, her car is still the only one in the driveway so I assume her parents aren’t home yet. I knock and am greeted by Eleanor who informs me they’re still in Maddy’s room. I head up and when I open the door, I find them lying on their stomachs eating popcorn and M&Ms with the Gossip Girl playing on the tv. Maddy scoots herself closer to Charlie and pats the space beside her. I lie down with them and grab a handful of popcorn. Maddy asks, “You ever seen this show before?” I snort and say, “Seen it? I lived it.” “Oh yeah. Right.” I pull out my phone and open the camera and say, “Smile!” Maddy kisses my cheek and Charlie sticks her tongue out. “I said smile!
