Luke practically rolled Devin out of his house the next morning at promptly six a.m. If he were trying to find a silver lining to Troy's stupidity the night before, it would have been that he hadn't had the opportunity to drink much and felt just fine that morning. It made tormenting Devin all the more enjoyable.
“I think I made some progress with Carly.” Devin was eternally optimistic, even while hung-over and in need of a shower.
“Why would you think that?” Vanessa had already filled Luke in about Carly semi-dating Jared, but he was really amused at his friend making an ass out of himself. Luke swung his keys around his finger as he waited for Devin to take his sweet time shuffling down the front steps.
