The only thing better than summer nights and bonfire air was Truth or Dare and unicorn s'mores in the middle of it. Her friends were fans, and they did, in fact, take selfies. Mission accomplished. Her mom had even come out just minutes after Devin was dared to streak through the yard, leaving intact the impression that the party was civilized and orderly.
“Didn't I tell you? No stress,” Luke said, falling into the chair next to her.
“You may have told me.” She bit into her third s'more of the night and leaned over to kiss him with a marshmallow face. He returned the kiss with enthusiasm.
