“YOU DID WHAT?!!!” I stood from my swivel chair upon hearing what Rusty is about to say. He came to my house early just to tell me that he made an offer to Genevieve.
“I’m sorry if I made a decision without your consent; you can fire me for it but I just wanted to help them. I wanted to help, Steff. I know how she cares about Genovia especially her sister. Look, I know you excluded Genovia from the list but they need this the most. Didn’t you see the news yet?”
I sighed. I am not planning to meet her just yet but given the circumstances, it leaves me no choice; it’s either I continue to avoid it or I’ll face it now. I can already imagine how hard it is for her and I can’t bear to see her stressed out because of something else.
