“Are you sure about your decision, bro?” my brother Rusty asked for the nth time. I regretted saying those words the moment they left my mouth. I saw the pain in her eyes but she still managed to smile and agreed to my decision.
“More than sure.” I simply replied before I turn my attention back to the documents on my desk. I glanced at my phone when I felt it vibrating on my table. Elise is calling me again. She kept asking me about the Emerald bracelet I won at the auction. She thought I bought it for her.
I turned off my phone and focused on my task at hand. I frowned and raised my head when I see Rusty still sitting at the opposite side of my table.
“Why are you still here? I want you to personally attend to the winery and vineyard project in Genovia.”
