“Are you ready?” I turn around when I heard Veronica’s voice behind me.
“I am.” I saw how her smile faded as she looks at me from head to toe making me frown. “What?”
“What the hell are you wearing, Genevieve?!!!” Veronica exclaimed. I looked down at my simple black dress and frowned. What’s wrong with this?
“Nah-uh. This won’t do.” Veronica pushed me into the room and pushed me on the couch. “Stay.”
Veronica entered the bedroom and when she came out; she held a sexy and elegant black long dress. “If you want to go black, might as well be IT; not just black. Do you get me? Besides, we’re attending a launching event, not a funeral.”
