Aydin wiped the sweat from his brow, his hands trembling as he set the final chunk of Luminaris into the satchel at his side. The enchanted metal shimmered faintly, its surface gleaming with an inner light. He leaned against the cavern wall, catching his breath. His body ached from the intense focus and magic he’d exerted all day to mine the rare material. The night had fallen by the time Fira appeared at the edge of the cave. “You’ve done well,” she said softly, her voice carrying a soothing tone. “Come, you need rest.” Aydin nodded, exhaustion weighing heavily on him.
