Slipping Into the darkness

I gasp when i hear the growl and quickly turn around. I’m met with the muzzle of Brandons wolf, snarling and eyes locked onto Shane with a murderous intent. “Brandon” i say gently trying to get his attention. I just need to calm him down enough to see reason. He doesn’t even look at me and another growl escapes his maw as he takes a slow menacing step forward. “Brandon, please. Don’t do this” with those words his head snaps to me. I didn’t think he could look angrier than he did before, but i was definitely wrong. he snaps his jaws at me as if telling me to shut up and then looks back at Shane taking another small step forward. I take a look at Shane and see that he’s just as angry looking back at Brandon. “Shane, don’t” I beg him. But he doesn’t listen. He holds Brandons gaze and lets out a growl of his own and says. “The f**k is your problem Brandon? Are you laying claim to her? Is that it? Yeah, i bet it is” he says as a sinister smile crosses his lips. “I bet you’ll just love this then” he says sarcastically. He then grabs me roughly and smashes his lips into Mine. I’m then shoved into the flowers as Brandon lets out a snarl and leaps at Shane. “STOP, STOP. PLEASE YOU TWO YOU HAVE TO STOP!” I yell at them both. They are both shifted and ripping at each other. were far back in the garden where its secluded and not a lot of people go. When i originally came here that was a good thing, but now I’m regretting that decision. They don’t listen to my desperate pleas. They just keep going. Blood from both of them is coating the ground. The only good thing is that Shane was able to shift as well. I begin to look at the ground and start to throw anything i can find at them, I even throw a terracotta flowerpot. It smashes against the back of one of them but it doesn’t seem to faze them. I’m left with no other choice, i shift into my wolf and jump into the fight. I move into the shaddows that the two are creating between each other and pop my head out and bit at anything that comes near before retreating back in. It was starting to work, they were starting to stop. But while Brandon was distracted by my bite to his ear, Shane smashed him into the ground. I didn’t have enough time to sink back into the shadow. Brandon lands on me with all his weight and i feel something sharp enter my body through my shoulder blades. My wolf lets out an agonizing scream as the shaddows disappear from around me. Brandon gets off me quickly and shift back into his human form. Shane is quickly at his side also in his human form. I’m laying their panting for air. I can’t seem to fill my lungs, and with every breath i hear a crackling sound. I’m starting to fade out of consiousness, i can feel my blood pooling around me. The edges of my sight are starting to go black. “Is this it?” I’m think to myself “is this when i die?” “Marren, hang on marren” i hear Shane say as I’m scooped up in his arms. “Watch out for the pot shard i***t” Brandon growls. “Just get the f*****g door” Shane snips back. i can feel them running through the pack house, Shane’s scent lulling me into peace and comfort. My eyes are just so heavy. I can’t catch my breath. I just need some sleep. Just a little bit of sleep and I’ll be fine. “marren, keep your eyes open. Don’t you dare close them. It’s not time to sleep. We’re almost there” Shane says to me. But he sounds like he’s under water. I just need to close my eyes for a second. Just a moment. I hear what sounds like doors being burst open and Brandon yelling about a doctor. I’m set down on something soft and then i can’t stop my eyes from closing. Just before everything goes black i hear Shane and Brandon scream my name one last time.
