When Silence Broke Into Tears.

Chapter 9 After seeing Mirha’s condition, her parents could no longer stay silent or helpless. The sight of their daughter lying weak and exhausted had shaken them deeply. Her mother stayed close to her side, holding her hand, while her father quietly made a firm decision in his heart. “She is coming home with us,” he said finally, his voice calm but certain. No one in the house objected strongly. The atmosphere itself had already changed. Mirha was too weak to respond or argue. She simply lay there, her eyes half-open, silently accepting whatever was happening around her. Slowly, her belongings were gathered. Her mother helped her sit up carefully, supporting her fragile body. Every movement showed how exhausted she was. Her father watched quietly, his face carrying a mix of pain and responsibility. Ali did not stop them. He stood at a distance, silent, watching everything unfold. There was no strong reaction from him, no emotional resistance, just a quiet acceptance that added to the heaviness of the moment. Soon, Mirha was taken back to her parental home. The journey was silent. Her mother stayed close to her the entire time, holding her hand and wiping her forehead gently whenever needed. Her father drove in silence, his thoughts heavy and controlled. Once she reached her home, the atmosphere immediately changed. It was softer. Warmer. Familiar. Her room, her space, her family’s presence—it all gave her a small sense of relief, even in her weak condition. Her mother quickly arranged everything for her comfort, making sure she rested properly. Her father called a doctor and ensured she received proper care. For the first time in many days, Mirha felt slightly safe. Over the next two to three days, her condition slowly began to stabilize. With rest, care, and her mother’s constant presence, her fever reduced a little. She was still weak, but she was no longer in critical condition. Her family stayed close to her at all times, making sure she ate properly and rested. But the peace did not last long. On the third day, a formal letter arrived. Divorce papers. When her mother saw it, her hands trembled. Her father took the papers silently, his face tightening with disappointment and controlled anger. The room became quiet again. Mirha looked at them from her bed, not fully surprised, but deeply exhausted inside. She did not have the strength to react strongly. Only a quiet pain settled in her heart. Her mother sat beside her again, holding her hand tightly. “We will not let you suffer anymore,” she said softly, her voice breaking slightly. Mirha closed her eyes slowly, as if trying to escape the heaviness of everything happening around her. And in that moment, something inside her life finally felt like it had reached a turning point.
