Alison's POV
Both she and Alpha Raphael knew of me being the mate to their sons, and deep down I knew they didn't accept me as I was just an ordinary omega with both her parents dead!
"Um, fine." I didn't know what to say, and I wish she would drop this matter. A pitiful smile followed, just so she would understand how awkward I was feeling. Thank the goddess, Luna Freya was smart.
"You should get Levi for me, can you do that? I need him to get something for me at the store. He promised to help me out last night." She said and I instantly nodded.
Heading up the stairs, a strong scent filled my nose and I sighed in frustration at how my wolf jumped in excitement. The boys all had different scents but everytime, it made my body tingle and to make things worse, when I thought about Luca's earthy scent mixed with the pleasant refreshing fresh rain’, I just wanted to cuddle with him all night. Or when Leon passed by my side and his strong sandalwood scent filled my nostrils, especially when I got to have a sneak peek of his amazing abs whenever he was shirtless, I always felt like a dirty slut, thinking of what I want his gorgeous body to do to mine.
And Levi...Levi was the strangest one of them all. Everything he did made my spirit lift high. His scent was mixed between lavender and a rosey kind that always made me picture him naked with my arms wrapped around him. He was getting more handsome to me, when he frowned since he rarely laughed. And damn, the way his dimples crinkled whenever that devilish smirk finally spread across his face.
I didn't realize I'd been standing still for so long, fantasizing about a bunch of cold dudes who didn't even--
"Damn, I have to hand it to you, Luca. You were really awesome with your strange kindness." I was forced to pause as soon as I heard Leon's voice. He was speaking so loud, was he so stupid not to know I would be able to hear him?? Or someone else could??
"That was not funny, Leon. We still deserve to be nice to her, don't you think so, Lev?" That was Luca's voice.
"Don't drag me into this. Just because dad and mom asked us to apologize to her doesn't mean I still want anything to do with her."
My heart was shattered at that point. I knew that apology was not genuine, so why was I feeling hurt like this?
Leon bursted out in laughter. "Well, whatever. How long are we going to have to pretend we're nice? I wish she doesn't go to the party with us tonight. I miss Shanica. She showed me her boobs last night when we were chatting. Means only one thing; b***h is still thirsty for me."
"We didn't need those disgusting details." Levi remarked.
"Who is Shanica?" Luca asked.
That was it. I barged in.
"You boys just have no shame, do you?"
They looked startled to have seen me for a while, but soon that expression of shock wore off from their faces.
"Oh, look who's here. Beautiful morning to a beautiful girl like you--"
"I heard everything you were saying, Leon!" I cut him off at once. "You know, you guys are going to be trusted to look after the pack, and you are still so stupid to belittle me, just one little orphan omega. And to worsen matters, I am supposed to be your mate! And you can't even treat me, right?"
Leon heaved in a deep sigh for a dramatic effect, Luca rolled his eyes, supposedly prepared for his drama. And Levi, he looked like he would be better off out of the room. His face was buried in his phone's screen.
"So what are we supposed to do, become stuck with you?" Leon scoffed. "But then, what does a helpless little omega like you know about ruling? Tell me, Alison." He advanced closer, his hard stare making me nervous. "Even your father who was all knowing and way smarter than you died protecting the pack, so what right do you have to speak to us like this?"
Right there, I would have crumbled to the floor waiting for it to open up and swallow me whole. My chest hurt from the painful cruel words, I turned, my eyes already filled with painful tears. Walking out the room was the only smart thing to do. Behind me, I heard them scolding Leon, but it didn't matter. Before leaving, I recalled why Luna Freya had sent me up here.
"Levi," My voice sounded croaked. "Luna Freya wants you downstairs."
I went straight to my room, closing the door shut. I feared I would start to cry nonstop from what he had said, but then I had a new motivation. Whatever I couldn't change, I would not bother worrying about it. What I could change, was how I take the words of others over my life.
"My dad was a hero." I told myself. I wouldn't cower like a p***y just because it is expected of me.
There was a knock on the door after a short while, a strong scent of freshly baked goodies hitting my nose. I realized it must have been Luna Freya.
The door opened with her holding a tray of delicious goodies.
"Here, you must be hungry." She looked around, "Can I come in?"
I led her in and sat on the bed. We weren't so close, but I always enjoyed having her around.
"Before you say anything, Luna Freya, I'm fine." I quickly said so she wouldn't worry.
A smile appeared on her face. "Of course you are, you're a tough one. And please, just Freya is alright. I really don't mind."
I nodded. It felt disrespectful not adding the title, but she had corrected me many times.
"I'm sorry. Freya." I said out loud, and knew it would take a while before I got used to calling her by just her name. Something struck me as I sat there enjoying a giant cookie, why weren't the boys more like their mother? Or like Alpha Raphael for that matter! Where did they learn how to be a jerk?
As if she read my mind, she sat closer on the bed to meet my gaze. "You know I don't think you're aware of this, but around four years ago, same time on their birthday, we lost someone important to us."
My attention was bought as I sat up straight to hear more.
