Rolling over my bed, I cuddled closer to Fika (my cat). She purred lightly and slowly walked away from me, settling herself on the edge of my bed whilst giving me the stinky eye. Although she's been with us for a few months, her personality has changed drastically. When she first came to us months ago, you would find her snuggling in my lap 24/7 and waiting beside my bed when I wasn't here. However, she's 7 months old now....a teenager in terms of humans and man, it shows.
But it's okay because what most people do not understand is that cats value consent a lot and only like to be touched, patted or petted when they're in the mood for it. Most people want to cuddle their pets whenever so a cat might not be the perfect fit for them..unless of course their personality suits the cat.
