Violette is 16 right now but will turn 17 this month. Her family is half Indian as her parents' each have one Indian parent. She is light skinned but has been raised with both Indian and American values and sexism. (This obviously isn't to say that either culture is inherently sexist but rather, many people still are, sadly.) She's had a traumatic past, that is, her cousin took advantage of her when she was 15..leading to her pregnancy...and abortion. Her uncle hit her upon finding out about what was happening even though the cousin should've been held accountable as a 23 year old. Other than that, she had parental issues ever since she was a child because of her fathers' cheating
