“Ignoring work on the first day, is it?” I looked at her slouched figure in amusement. I’d been standing here for quite some time, observing her as she mindlessly avoided any work that she may have or get. Immediately reacting to my voice, she looked up in confusion when realisation hit her like a ton of bricks. Trying my best not to laugh like a maniac at her face, I decided to settle for no expressions on my face.
Sandra had reached out to me a couple of days ago with a list of people they had short listed.
