Liam POV
The group had been gone for about 2 hours when we decided to get ready to leave.
Kane was on edge, not sure if it was because dad was leaving with the group and he might need him or because we were travelling back to our pack and there could be an attack. It's a lot of pressure for Kane from both points because dad is his Alpha and he is supposed to be by his side if needed and also the pressure of guarding us against attacks, his best friends kids and future Alpha for our pack. I feel bad for him, but he doesn't say anything. He is busy going over our route and keeping mum up to date on everything.
