Alora Two days of being trapped in this chamber with nothing but my own traitorous body for company. I paced the floor until the boards creaked in protest under my weight. I’ve tried breathing exercises to manage the need. I’ve even tried a cold water bath in the hope that it would extinguish the fire that was burning inside me. I’ve even tried burying myself under blankets in the hopes of smothering it out altogether. But nothing I have done helps.
