Vlod came into Cahir's bed chamber, closing the door quietly in case the other was asleep.
However Cahir's prior closed eyes flitted open as soon as he came in and settled on his form.
Vlod sighed, quickly but quietly crossing the length of the room to the huge bed that Cahir was laid in. He sat down on the stool the doctor had kept beside the bed earlier.
The king was still weak and looked tired but at least his colour had returned. He turned on his bed to better face Vlod.
"How do you feel now?" Vlod asked, his voice laced with the worry he felt.
