Lillian′s POV: With the return of my memories, the world seems entirely different. Brighter, but at the same time, darker. Lightning lit the skies in wonderous streaks, and then the downpour began. Dense layers of water gush from above, washing away all scent. I rest my head against my hand, feeling the cool metal below my elbow. One leg above another, I shift around the chair to gain a comfortable spot. There isn’t much to watch in front of me. Fog hovered every tree the eyes could reach, every square of the ground.
